3Strands Leadership Course, Courses Page Update

We just added a new course called 3Strands Leadership and organized the Courses page into Categories.

The results of our survey last year indicated a need for more management-related soft-skills training. 3Strands Leadership is at the core of our management philosophies and was a perfect place to start. Head on over to the Courses page to check it out.

3Strands Leadership is about accurately assessing your situation and following leadership best practices. It starts off by encouraging you to break out of the status quo, and then covers the three major themes of successful leaders: Systematic Power, Meaningful Work, and Sincere Gratitude.

Producing this course took longer than we hoped, but we learned a lot along the way. It has a different style than the other courses: Different music, different visuals, better audio quality, and a stronger narrative.

Courses Page Update

We also made a slight update to the Courses page. Our current curriculum plan is separated into multiple categories and we want to make sure you can find the courses easily. As such, the courses page is now divided up into tabs:

  • All Courses: All of the courses currently offered
  • Core Skills: Courses designed for all employees, especially new employees
  • Customer Service: Important skills for anyone who works directly with customers, either in person or on the phone
  • Operations, HR, and Finance: Best practices for folks in internal operations
  • Sales and Marketing: Core skills required to attract and charm customers
  • Management: Advanced courses for founders, executives, and managers

We plan to add more courses in these categories during the rest of the year. Please note the description in each category, including the note about Prerequisites for each category. We recommend everyone enroll and complete the Core Skills courses prior to starting other categories. Additionally, we recommend that leaders complete all of the other courses prior to starting the Management courses.

Lesson Completion Badge

Finally, we added a new achievement and associated badge for completing a lesson. Now you can earn 100 points every time you complete a lesson.

This badge may be earned multiple times.


Next we will be working on a new Core Skills course called “How to Set and Achieve Goals”. This is a vital soft skill everyone needs to master.
